Cyber Security Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

Security Infrastructure Management:

Design, implement, and manage security infrastructure to safeguard the organization’s networks, systems, and data.

Conduct regular security assessments and ensure the implementation of necessary security controls.

Incident Response:

Develop and maintain incident response plans and participate in handling security incidents, including analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery.

Vulnerability Management:

Perform regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate the remediation of identified vulnerabilities across the organization.

Stay updated on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.

Security Compliance:

Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Conduct internal audits and assist in external audits related to security controls.

Security Awareness:

Provide security awareness training to employees and promote a culture of security within the organization.

Security Monitoring:

Implement and manage security monitoring tools to detect and respond to security incidents in real-time.

Analyze security logs and alerts to identify potential threats.

Network Security:

Configure and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other network security devices.

Monitor network traffic for unusual activities and potential security risks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5-6 years of proven experience in Cyber Security roles.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in conducting security risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, firewall configurations, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
