We are looking for an experienced Accountant/Senior Accountant to join our Technology Consulting team. This role requires strong financial expertise, hands-on experience in full-cycle accounting, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment. You will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting while supporting leadership in strategic financial planning. Location: Preferably Karachi (On-site / Hybrid)
When you are working with us, you will be:
· Managing end-to-end accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL, and reconciliations
· Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with accuracy.
· Leading budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
· Ensuring compliance with tax laws, audits, and regulatory requirements.
· Handling vendor payments, client invoices, corporate and sales tax and receivables management.
· Strengthening internal controls and improving financial processes.
· Collaborating with cross-functional and global teams on project-based finances.
· Using ERP/accounting systems (QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, Zoho, Netsuite etc.) to streamline and automate financial workflows.
· Track project billing, time sheets, and financial data related to consulting engagements.
You can get in, if you can prove that you:
· Have 10+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance, ideally in Tech, IT, or Consulting.
· Hold a degree in Accounting/Finance (ACCA/CA/ICMA part-qualified is a plus).
· Understand IFRS/GAAP and full-cycle accounting deeply.
· Have knowledge of payroll processing and HR–finance integrations.
· Are strong with Excel, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
· Can work independently with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
· Communicate effectively and solve problems analytically.
· Bring maturity, ownership, and professionalism in dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
